A great spot for overnight CAMPING 60 minutes from San Francisco. The beach is absolutely stunning. There is a designated camping ground right next to the beach, which is great for families, couples, friends! A short walk away is the Half Moon Bay downtown which is amazing! Head here even for a day and grab dinner and leave by sunset. Parking is easy to find. Lots of spots.

The sun was shining brightly, it was Easter as well, so of course I ventured to the beach. It was windy, which made it seem even colder than it was. Despite the cold air, I had a fantastic time laying out close to the cliffs. Watching and listening to the waves was glorious. There were kite flyers around, teens having fun, families enjoying a picnic, and a few people who actually went swimming. I love that it's a long stretch of beach, so you can go on a long stroll if you wanted.

We attended there annual Earth Day Festival Event through CA Park Champions on April 13. We did weeding in the dunes & some restoration. Lots of fun. A beautiful place w/beach & wild flowers. Can't wait to do it again next year.

It's a very beautiful place. It is the most scenic beach in San Francisco. Also, the route to the beach was also amazing. It was like traveling through the forest to reach the final destination. The place is also very lively.

A very clean, beautiful state beach. Parking fills quickly and is $10 a day. Some street parking before the beach entrance. Campsite also by the beach, about $50 a night, some with hookup some not. Beach easily accessible from parking lot. Waves can get large and beach can be windy. No dogs allowed. Bathrooms also located by the parking lot.
